How it works

Upside-down text relies on a clever trick: instead of rotating pixels or rendering images, it substitutes each normal character with a visually similar upside-down Unicode character, then reverses the entire string so the text reads correctly when your device is flipped.

Step 1 — Character Mapping

The tool maintains a lookup table that maps every common Latin letter, digit, and punctuation mark to its upside-down Unicode equivalent. For example:

Step 2 — String Reversal
